According to Kathmandu post, Health Minister Gagan Thapa has said that the government will provide compulsory health service insurance to Nepalis.
He was speaking this while inaugurating a building of the Chautara Secondary School, in Dhading.
He said that health insurance is the most important decision of his term as health minister adding that the poor and disadvantaged will not have to lose their life due to lack of health service.
Regarding the demands of Dr Govinda KC, he said that government is bringing the new policies that fulfill the demands and does not need any other strike regarding health sectors.
As the rusult of that policies,TUTH senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr KC ended his 10th hunger strike on the 22nd day on Sunday morning.
